The shotgun is one of the most versatile and effective defensive arms available to civilians. Most problems associated with running the shotgun can generally be traced back to poor or no training.
In Tactical Shotgun 1.0, participants will learn:
-The abilities and limitations of the defensive shotgun
-Fundamentals of shooting and how to properly manage recoil
-Tactical and emergency reloading
-Multiple shot scenarios with movement
-Shooting the defensive shotgun from cover
Note: This course is for those with a Massachusetts gun license who possess at least basic shotgun shooting skills and who practice proper gun safety. Also, this course requires physical activity, including periods of rapid movement and kneeling. Please be realistic about your abilities.

Price: $120 per student ($100 for DF&GC members). After submitting your registration form (below), you will be contacted regarding payment. We accept Venmo and credit cards. Do not pay until contacted with either a credit card or Venmo invoice from us. Payment is typically due within 24 hours of invoicing in order to reserve your spot in the class.
This class is held outdoors at Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA, and both club members and non-members may register to attend.
