A fun, yet challenging, two-person-team competition on the morning of the Big Game. Presented by Paladin Group Training and Danvers Fish & Game Club’s Outdoor Range. Limit of five teams–sign up early!

Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 from 8:30am to 1pm
Mandatory Safety and Medical Briefings start at 8:45am; shooting begins at 9am
Five, two-person teams (10 participants)
Multiple stages (distance will vary from 100 to 7 yards)
(Rifle only—no handguns.)
First, Second, and Third place prizes donated by Paladin Group Training
$20 per person (all proceeds go to the club’s Outdoor Range)
Pre-registration required, no same-day signups.
Hot lunch included and served at conclusion (nothing fancy).
Complimentary bottled water, coffee, tea, and hot cocoa available throughout the day.
Rangehouse available for warming if needed.
(Paladin instructors will be running the event and will not be competing. If you would like to volunteer to help, drop us a line.)

Prerequisites: Those who have taken Paladin’s Defensive Rifle 2.0 are welcome to participate in this competition. Others may signup if they have taken several defensive rifle courses elsewhere (from a recognized academy/instructor) where tactical shooting and movement were part of the curriculum. Participants must present a valid Massachusetts LTC (resident or non-resident) on event day.

Note: This event will involve physical activity (including running and kneeling) in cold weather conditions. Please be realistic about your abilities.

Equipment—about the same as the equipment list for Defensive Rifle 2.0 class except ammo count will be lower. (at least 120 rounds per person will be needed for the event–bring more, though)

You must find your own teammate–make sure they meet the prereqs. You will each register separately but state who your teammate will be during registration.

This event will be held at the Outdoor Range (Rifle Side) at Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA, and both club members and non-members may register to attend.

After submitting your registration form (below), you will be contacted regarding payment (each team member pays for themself individually). We accept Venmo and credit cards. Do not pay until contacted with either a credit card or Venmo invoice from us. Payment is typically due within 24 hours of invoicing in order to reserve your spot.
