Defensive Rifle Workshops - Paladin Group Training

Are you ready to test your defensive rifle abilities and push them to the next level? This series of classes features advanced shooting positions, rifle manipulations, and tactics. In each Workshop we run advanced drills with a specific focus that varies month to month. Focus examples include: Shooting from Cover (w/ bilateral transitions); Engaging Multiple Targets; Shooting on the Move; Decision-making/Stress; Rifle to Pistol Transitions; and more.

IMPORTANT PREREQUISITES: Students must have a valid Massachusetts LTC (resident or non-resident). These are advanced-level classes. Students who have taken our Defensive Rifle 2.0 will be well prepared for these Workshops. Others are welcome, as long as they have taken several rifle courses elsewhere (from a recognized academy/instructor) where tactical shooting and movement were part of the curriculum.

Note: Handguns are optional for most Rifle Workshops (needed for Rifle to Pistol Transition Workshop). If you have taken Defensive Pistol 2.0 or have had a similar level of training with another recognized instructor/academy you may bring a handgun.

These courses require physical activity. Please be realistic about your abilities.

Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Focus: Rifle to Pistol Transitions (class is full)

Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Focus: Core Fundamentals (8 spots open)

After the Dec. 15 class, there won’t be any more Rifle Workshops until the spring. Instead we offer Defensive Rifle Practices during the winter months.

Price: $75 per student ($65 for DF&GC members). After submitting your registration form (below), you will be contacted regarding payment. We accept Venmo and credit cards. Do not pay until contacted with either a credit card or Venmo invoice from us. Payment is typically due within 24 hours of invoicing in order to reserve your spot in the class.

This class is held outdoors at Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA, and both club members and non-members may register to attend.
